AWIGO LOGISTICS has successfully started into the new year with their daily operations.

The change of service provider for the collection of household waste in the district of Osnabrück has been "as scheduled," says Mr. Heinrich Werneke, authorized officer of AWIGO LOGISTICS confirmed - a very good start. Now we want to get "even better".

mm-lab GmbH is proud that it has contributed to this successful start with their Telematics solution tailored to the needs of AWIGO LOGISTICS. Ottmar Lasser, responsible at mm-lab GmbH for sales of Special Fleets solutions, is looking forward to a continued cooperation and already has many good ideas in mind.

Robert-Franck Schule Ludwigsburg

The computer science course of the Robert Franck School in Ludwigsburg came to visit mm-lab. Computer science from a practical perspective was the topic.

Managing Director Dr. A. Streit readily took time to show the potential candidates for a Cooperative Educational year, around. Moreover, a young mm-lab engineer informed about his personal experience going from high school, over Cooperative Education in Computer Science on to his current job at the mm-lab GmbH.

Like this theory becomes tangible.

AWIGO Composing2

The waste management of the Osnabrück district (AWIGO) will rely on a Telematics system from mm-lab starting 2015. At the start of the new logistics concept AWIGO will equip 33 vehicles with Telematics of mm-lab, receiving data and orders directly from the existing planning system ATHOS NewLine and returning the processed data.

The tours with integrated individual orders are mapped into Telematics and transferred to the vehicles via a bidirectional interface. Completed individual orders as well as the precise localization of individual containers and addresses can be returned by the drivers directly from the Telematics in the ATHOS NewLine ERP solution. This provides for more efficient and accelerated processes in waste management.

We are pleased to join AWIGO and our partner ATHOS in this project and look forward to a successful launch phase until the start of operations in January 2015.
