Special Vehicle Fleets

Special vehicles as well as fleets composed of them call for very specialized Telematics solutions due to the particular functions required. Their needs go far beyond usual fleet management. In particular inhomogeneous fleets containing different types of special vehicles (e.g. the vehicle fleet of a municipality) require flexible solutions. They must meet the requirements of different conditions as well as of the application in all its range of variation.

mm-lab’s Telematics solutions are particularly suitable to integrate the requirements of such inhomogeneous fleets. The goal is to support all staff involved (dispatcher, driver …) in the execution of their duties within the process chain while enabling teamwork free of media disruptions.

The basic component of mm-lab’s solutions is their own developed Telematics Platform (“Advanced Telematics Platform”). It allows the integration of different applications relieving the staff from constantly changing between different systems. This reduces significantly the probability of errors and effort for training. It allows in addition the implementation of commercially available end user equipment to allow choosing the right solution for the different applications and vehicles. The users will always have the same look and feel on the platform.

mm-lab is herewith in a position – building up on the components of the platform – to serve a large range of applications and users. Starting point is often the analysis of the respective business processes. Telematics solutions of mm-lab adjust to the environment of these processes taking into account existing infrastructure.
