Advanced Telematics Platform

The Advanced Telematics Platform (ATP) is the basis of the Telematics solutions offered by mm-lab.

The ATP enables the provisioning of customer specific Telematics solutions to reasonable cost and within very demanding time frames.

The ATP supports:

• Running in parallel different Telematics services and applications within one Telematics solution.
• The dynamical allocation, deletion and updating of services and applications during operation as well as
• The management of services and applications as well as the corresponding equipment hosting them.

The ATP currently offers an extensive list of available Telematics services and applications. The customer´s business processes are fully covered by using the basic ATP enhanced or complemented by specific modules. This principle is applicable in very different market areas of Telematics.

Implementing the ATP, mm-lab followed the rules listed below and succeeded in guaranteeing the offered flexibility and efficiency of the ATP:

• Application of open standards for interfaces as well as for data bases, … , etc.
• SW implementation in Java
• Integration of the OSGi^TM framework
• Executable on different operating systems
• Usage of commercially available equipment (mobile equipment, server, etc.)
• Capability to be integrated in the existing infrastructure of the customer

The ATP is designed in a modular architecture, easily expandable. mm-lab´s experience gained in different markets helps creating new features and applications enlarging the profile of the ATP and holding always more capabilities ready for the customers.
