Successful trial of mm-lab's Electronic Proving Ground Management System (EPM) on the Winter Test Proving Ground of Bosch's Chassis Systems Control Division
mm-lab GmbH today announces the successful trial performance of its Electronic Proving Ground Management System (EPM) on the Winter Test Proving Ground of Bosch´s Chassis Systems Control Division in Vaitoudden / Arjeplog, in the northern part of Sweden.
Based on Bosch´s requirements for a system solution providing enhanced safety and performance in the operation of its proving grounds, mm-lab demonstrated an elaborate prototype system based on its Advanced Telematics Platform (ATP). In order to minimize the risk of accidents between test vehicles, the functionality demonstrated comprises functions to improve the application engineer´s (test drivers) awareness of other vehicles using the same area or track, the planning and monitoring of the ongoing test activities on a central dispatcher working position and the ability for secure voice and data communications between drivers and central office personnel.
